Infiniti Extended Warranty Information
If you are purchasing a used Infiniti from an Infiniti dealer, you may be interested in the Infiniti Certified Pre-Owned Program. For a vehicle to qualify for this elite program, it must pass a thorough 142-point inspection test. When you buy one of these vehicles they will come with an extended auto warranty that mirrors the same level of coverage provided to a brand new Infiniti vehicle. You will have this coverage for a 3-year period, or until the vehicle hits 100,000 total miles. In addition to the extended warranty protection, you will also receive many of the benefits that come with a new car. These programs have a $50 deductible, and there is no limit to the number of claims you can make.

There are several excellent reasons why many consumers are protecting their Infiniti's with a third party extended service contract. Many times they just don't have the option of joining Infiniti's certified program, yet they still want to have a top level extended warranty. If you purchase a third party warranty, you can protect yourself for longer than a 3 year period, still have an exclusionary policy, and also have a zero deductible. Finally, you are not restricted to bring your vehicle back to an Infiniti dealer for repairs, although you certainly have the option to.

When does the warranty on my vehicle begin?
The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or put into use, whichever is earlier.

How long is my vehicle warranty?

Is there a deductible for warranty repair?
There is no deductible for warranty repairs. Warranty repairs will be made at no charge for parts and/or labor (except for batteries and tires, in which case you may pay certain charges). Any needed parts replacement will be made using genuine Infiniti or Infiniti-approved new or remanufactured parts.

Is towing covered by warranty?
If your vehicle is inoperative due to failure of a warranted part, towing service to the nearest Infiniti dealer is covered for 48 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Is rental covered by warranty?
The Infiniti Service Loan Car Program provides a unique benefit for clients who have purchased a new or pre-owned Infiniti vehicle. It is not part of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, but part of the Infiniti Total Ownership Experience and applies while the vehicle is covered under the basic new vehicle warranty. When alternate transportation is required during scheduled warranty service, or customer-paid repair (not including collision repair), these clients have the option of using a free Infiniti Service Loan Car.* Additionally, if you have an Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, rental benefit maybe included.

Who will determine if the repair on my vehicle is covered by warranty?

Can I modify my vehicle or add accessories not authorized by Infiniti?
If you install non-Infiniti after-market products on your Infiniti vehicle, you assume the risk that if you later present your vehicle for a warranty repair, the claim will be denied if the repair is determined to be necessary due to the non-Infiniti part/accessory or its installation.

Are scheduled maintenance services covered by the warranty?
As a condition of this warranty, you are responsible for properly using, maintaining and caring for your vehicle as outlined in your Owner's Manual and your Infiniti Service and Maintenance Guide, and maintaining copies of all maintenance records and receipts for review by Infiniti. Failure to do so is likely to result in the denial of warranty coverage.

Evidence of the performance of the required maintenance should be kept and presented as proof of such maintenance in connection with related warranty repairs. To assist you in maintaining appropriate records, the Maintenance Log located in your Infiniti Service and Maintenance Guide can be used along with supporting repair invoices, receipts and other such records.
